Villa Verde Historic District

The Villa Verde Historic District is one of the smaller Phoenix area historic preservation districts. It includes just four blocks of homes west of the Coliseum. The Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum is directly opposite the Villa Verde Historic District, on 19th Avenue. 20th Avenue provides the western boundry for Villa Verde. The east-west blocks are Granada St., Palm Ln., Holly St., and Monte Vista Rd. Most of the homes were built between 1928 and 1940.
